An arguably a small feature, but one that I have wanted to see since I first started using Revit, is finally here. Anyone who has assembled a Sheet in Revit with Views that have different scales associated with them has seen the scale shown in the title block show as As indicated. I understood not wanting to allow the user to override that with anything that looked like it could be the name of a scale, but hard-coding the diplayed text with no option to modify it (not even to make it all capital letters, if setting it to my firm's AS NOTED standard was not possible) has been a minor irritant over the years.
For projects done in Revit 2026, that irritant has gone away. There is a new Type parameter for title blocks called Scale Override (Multiple Values) that allows you to provide your own preferred text to be used when there are Views of varying scales on the same Sheet. The entered value can only contain text; numeric values are not supported.
The end result, after setting the override to AS NOTED.
If you are like me, and want to see just what they mean by "numeric values not supported," be prepared to see the warning dialog below if you try to add so much as a single numeral to the override text.
